Like a Breath at Its End

Performance, Amalgama Space, Athens 2025, with the support of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.

In a strange place, where a terrible catastrophe has occurred—like a Dantean landscape—and where the end will soon arrive; in a real place where the dead ends of reality are magnified, there a man sleepwalks between imagination and reality… Singular objects, a few staircases; singular creatures, some (female?), bodies that have suffered severe psychosomatic deterioration and struggle in vain to find a way out. At times, moments of the dream resemble a farcical comedy of poor taste. The work is inspired by Samuel Beckett’s Le Dépeupleur (The Lost Ones), in the Greek translation by Thomas Symeonidis.
